String Piecing WorkshopWelcome to the Bloomington Quilters Guild of Indiana! Above is Betsy Glassey's string pieced quilt in progress. Betsy taught a BQG summer workshop in string piecing on August 16, 2017.

The purpose of the Bloomington Quilters Guild is to develop an appreciation for the history of quilting and quilters and to promote a continuation of the art in our community. We are a charitable 501c3 not-for-profit organization with 200 members located in Bloomington, Indiana. Please come JOIN US!

Our next guild meeting is Tuesday, February 27, 2018.

The Indiana Heritage Quilt Show will be held March 1 - 3, 2018. Get the details on entering your quilt, signing up for a workshop, and volunteering.

Our Quilts from the Heartland  show was held Nov. 10 - 11, 2017 at the Monroe County Convention Center. Over 250 local beautiful quilts were displayed. This year's winners were Lisa Dodson for the Viewer's Choice award and Connie Pockevich for the Nola King hand-quilting award. Our next show is November 2020.
