The Migrant Quilt Project

This is the last weekend for the Mathers Museum of World Cultures exhibit featuring quilts exploring migration during Indiana University's Spring Semester 2020. "The Migrant Quilt Project" is a grassroots, collaborative effort of artists, quiltmakers, and activists to express compassion for migrants from Mexico and Central America who died in the Southern Arizona deserts on their way to create better lives for themselves and their families. The project’s website is Migrantquiltproject.org.

"The Migrant Quilt Project" will be on display January 14 through March 15, 2020.

Its exhibit hall and Museum Store are open Tuesdays through Fridays, from 9am - 4:30pm; and Saturdays and Sundays, from 1 - 4:30pm. Admission to the museum is free.
