Workshops for Beginners: Saturday, Nov. 16, 2019

Quilting workshops for beginners will be held at the Monroe County Public Library, as a partnership between Bloomington Quilters Guild and the Library, for ages 18 & up. Interested in quilting but don't know how to start? Members of the Bloomington Quilters Guild will teach the basics of hand quilting and machine quilting. This event is open to the public, so you don’t have to be a guild member! The event is free. Sewing machines and supplies will be available.

  • 10:00 am - noon; Hand quilting led by Luann Dillon and helper

  • 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm; Machine quilting led by Nola Hartman and helpers
We’ll be in Meeting Room 1B.

Call out to BQG members: If you can help during the workshops, please email Nola and Luann.
