FALL RETREAT: Thursday October 8 - SUNday October 11, 2026

Click to REGISTER online.

Location: Waycross Camp and Conference Center,
7363 Bear Creek Road, Morgantown, Indiana

Why go to a quilting retreat?  The reasons are endless, but any guild member who has been on a retreat will tell you that it's a delightful way to take a break from your daily life with concentrated time to work on your projects, have fun with friends new and old, and relax in a beautiful setting.  Finish those UFOs, make a community quilt, or learn a new technique from one of our many talented members.  It's all possible at a BQG retreat!

The name of the facility may lead one to envision tents or bunkbeds, however the facility we are using is a conference center with regular hotel type rooms and bathrooms. We are not expecting to rough it! There is a nice family like room to gather to relax, play cards, work on a puzzle, or have a glass of wine with friends. (you must bring your own wine). No stairs to get to dining hall, or to the building to sew. There are some pictures of the facility below. Waycross has really good food - and it is different every meal. The chef will prepare gluten free, vegetarian and vegan meals. Be sure to indicate any dietary preferences on your registration form.

You do have the option of being a commuter (day sewer). The cost include 2 meals each day.

MEMBERSHIP: You must have paid member dues for the 2026-2027 guild year to attend this retreat. Add “Membership” to your shopping cart if paying online.

This year we are charging less if you pay by mail or in-person at a guild meeting. Choose the register by mail option. If you choose to register online the bank fees are included in the cost of the online registration charges.

Costs this year. Many permutations of Cash/Credit and overnight and commuter charges are in the charts.
