Join our Tuesday night (May 5) Guild presenter Claudia Lash for her intriguing hands-on workshop covering all aspects of 3-dimensional quilt construction. Claudia will guide us through the thoughtful selection of fabric colors (scraps or 10" squares) and careful cutting methods to achieve 3D floating cubes. Something new for your quilting toolbox!

Cute Cubes is a quilt full of colorful cubes which appear to be hollow. In this class we will first work on choosing fabrics based on their value (lightness and darkness). This skill is very important in every quilt design. You will learn to sew hollow cube blocks using small scraps of 3 different fabric values for each block.
